As research or new knowledge develops, departmental requirements may change.
Departments may ask students to accept additional or new requirements. In
general, a student follows the departmental degree requirements set forth at the
time of the student’s admission. If requirements change, the student is given
the option of continuing under the original requirements or changing to the
revised curriculum.
