The University of California Center in Sacramento Program (UCCS) is an experiential learning opportunity that combines an internship with research and coursework. Students have the opportunity to observe public policy processes firsthand in our state’s capital. UCCS offers distinctive academic programs in public policy and public affairs journalism (summer only). Admission to the UCCS Program is open to upper-division undergraduates and advanced sophomores from all majors. Students maintain full-time UC enrollment while working in a structured internship with an agency or organization of their choice in Sacramento. The program is offered during all academic terms and summer. For more information visit the program’s website: www.duels.ucsb.edu/academics.
