The ACCESS Card is the UCSB Student ID/Campus One Card. It is used as proof of registration and to gain entrance into numerous student services. These include UCSB dining commons, Davidson Library, the computer lab, building and lab door access, and the Recreation Center. It also allows free entry to athletic events and free rides on the local bus system. Students may opt to make a deposit to their card and use it as a debit card where purchases are automatically deducted from the balance in their account (Gaucho Bucks). ACCESS is accepted at the UCSB Campus Store, campus dining and food outlets, the UCen Post Office, and Student Health as well as select off-campus businesses. The ACCESS Card has a one-time processing fee of $30 and has a $30 replacement fee if damaged or lost.
