International Programs: UCSB Extension
International Programs through UCSB Extension are offered year-round and provide the opportunity for international students, scholars, and professionals to enroll in UCSB academic and/or professional development courses. The programs offer an excellent way to experience university life in the U.S., and the credits earned may be transferred to universities around the world and/or used to complement students’ professional goals.
Programs include:
- University Immersion Program (UIP)
- International Diploma Program (IDP)
- English Academy (EA)
- Gateway Program
- Visiting Scholar Program for university instructors (VSP)
- Visiting Executive Program for Professionals
- Various customized summer programs
UCSB Extension International Programs offers a range of support services including I-20s for F-1 Visas, J-1 Visas, immigration advising, academic advising and student health insurance.
