Housing, Dining & Auxiliary Enterprises

Students at UC Santa Barbara have several choices of housing options, including residence halls and apartments. Detailed housing information is available on the housing web site at www.housing.ucsb.edu.

UCSB operates eight residence halls and eight apartment complexes, all located on or near the main campus, and a variety of meal plans are offered at our four Dining Commons. Many students find university living an excellent opportunity to become involved with the campus community and meet other students. Use the housing options filter to find your home at UCSB! Select one or more types to display the living options that match your needs and eligibility. www.housing.ucsb.edu/housing-options/options-filter

Residential & Community Living promotes a self-regulated environment for the residents of University residence halls and apartments. Their services foster the residents’ ability to live together respectfully and responsibly in a learning community and promote the academic success of all residents. The residential education program provides a quality living experience as well as opportunities to interact with other residents, faculty and staff. The department oversees live-in staff, university and community housing services, community councils, and student leadership and conduct.
