Office of the Ombuds

The Office of the Ombuds serves as a confidential resource to discuss a variety of university-related issues, including bureaucratic run-arounds and conflicts with campus officials. The ombuds may listen, identify issues, inform students about University policy and procedure, help students consider options, and/or refer students to other campus offices for assistance. The ombuds may assist with communication with faculty or campus offices. The Office of the Ombuds is an impartial and independent entity, not an advocate, judge, or campus official. The Office of the Ombuds does not receive formal complaints, but can point students in the right direction and help them understand the processes for complaints and grievances.
